Commercial Snow Removal
Overnight Snow and Ice Work on Commercial Lots
Snow removal photographs are almost always taken at three in the morning, and these are no exception. This is KBK Landscaping Inc. clearing commercial and municipal properties in Washtenaw County before the first shift arrives.
A commercial snow contract is a promise about timing. Lots and walks have to be clear and treated before staff, customers or residents show up, which means crews are dispatched off forecast and trigger depths rather than waiting for a phone call. The images here show plowing on open lots, tight-quadrant work around parked vehicles and islands, walkway clearing, and salting and de-icing on both pavement and pedestrian surfaces.
KBK runs this work on 24-hour, on-call availability through the season, which is the only way the service is worth buying. Equipment matters here more than in almost any other part of the business: trucks and loaders sized to the lot, and enough of them that a heavy event does not push every client to the back of the queue. The equipment gallery shows what the winter fleet looks like.
Liability, Salt and Site Knowledge
Most of the risk on a commercial property in winter is pedestrian, not vehicular — entryways, ramps, walkways and the first ten feet of a parking lot. De-icing plans are written per site with that in mind, and salt is applied where refreeze actually happens rather than uniformly across the whole surface. Knowing where a lot drains and where meltwater re-freezes overnight is site knowledge that comes from having plowed the property before.
Commercial snow removal and ice management is offered to business, municipal and institutional properties only; KBK does not plow residential driveways. Many of the properties in this gallery are the same ones the commercial lawn care crews maintain in the growing season, which is generally the cleanest arrangement — one contractor who already knows the grades, the drainage and the pinch points.
Lock In Snow and Ice Coverage Before the Season
KBK Landscaping Inc. walks the lot, maps the problem areas, and prices a seasonal or per-event programme with 24-hour response.
